Making Projects Work presentation - through effective meetings and workshops


The world of IT has at its heart a huge number of projects. These projects are of increasing complexity and scope, with many more stakeholders, who are much more diverse than ever before. This sessioin will offer practical ideas on how project workshops and meetings can be made much more effective in the IT project environment we find ourselves in today.
Dr Penny Pullan is a professional facilitator and project manager. Her company focuses on identifying organisational needs and devising unique solutions to make projects and programmes work.

Life in the Games Industry - An Introduction Print E-mail

Andy Thomason, featured recently in IT Now, is a veteran of the computer games industry, from the arcade games of the early 1980s, through 3D simulation and racing games of the 1990s to his position at Sony Computer Entertainment. Currenty he is working on compiler technology for the PS3 (PlayStation3).
